About Sally Matson

Upon graduation from the Northwestern University School of Communication, Sally performed with a Dept of Defense show in the Pacific. Then, moving with her husband from state to state she served as interviewer on CT Cable TV, and studied writing at the University of Virginia extension and Manhattanville College. Mrs. Matson has been acting and directing for forty years and has had major roles in: A Thousand Clowns, And Miss Reardon Drinks a Little, The Importance of Being Earnest, Under Milkwood, O'Susannah, The Crucible, Lysistrata, The Jewish Wife, Waltz of the Toreadors, and Night of the Iguana. Sally Matson is a member of Solo Together, a Boston-based organization of living history performers. She is listed on the Vermont and New Hampshire Humanities Councils' Speakers Bureaus.
